Personal branding is a powerful way to distinguish yourself as a leader, but it is so much more than a brief elevator pitch or what you share on social media. When done right, it can help you align your purpose and strengths with how you show up as a leader everyday and shape the reputation you build for yourself. In this workshop, we will explore how to define and articulate your unique value proposition (your brand), increase your visibility and influence and elevate your leadership in a way that moves you towards your goals. No more waiting for that next promotion or opportunity to come your way. You will learn how to drive your career success and fulfillment.

Participants will take part in a virtual 90min interactive session on the topic of defining your decision-making style. Participants will understand the dynamics of decision-making, one’s own decision-making style, how to be influential in decision-making as a leader and enhance their situation-sensitive leadership and communication skills.

In this 1.5-hour interactive workshop, experienced women leaders in finance will learn to recognize, address, and respond to microaggressions in the workplace. Through group discussions, role-play, and peer coaching, participants will build confidence in navigating tough conversations, advocating for inclusion, and fostering equity. This session offers practical strategies, leadership tools, and opportunities to strengthen your impact as a leader while contributing to a more equitable professional environment.

Leadership requires the ability to build consensus and execute timely action with others who may hold different perspectives. The management of tension, conflict, ambiguity, and radical difference between ourselves and others is one of the core skill sets of competent executives. Times of disruption require a concerted action around a collaborative outcome and highlight the need to build the skills of establishing trust, conflict de-escalation, and conflict resolution. This workshop will help participants map, understand, and, where applicable, re-design how they communicate and relate to others in difficult interpersonal situations. Each person will get an opportunity to discover their own conversational pattern and have a chance to alter and practice their new behavioral blueprint.
Objectives:
- Participants will learn about verbal and non-verbal elements of interpersonal trust;
- Participants will learn how to ‘dissect’ a difficult conversation;
- Participants will learn how not to succumb to fallacies common in inter-personal conflict;
- Participants will learn how to de-escalate and discuss emotions and attributions
- Participants will learn how to read and check non-verbal cues that may unconsciously escalate the inter-personal conflict.
Pre-work:
Participants will be asked to fill out a worksheet that details a difficult conversation they have had in the last year, which left them upset, angry, disappointed, or confused. This worksheet will be completely confidential, and participants will not share them with either the faculty or other members of the workshop. It will be used in-session by the participant to individualize and apply the learnings covered in the workshop

A panel of senior leaders will discuss their personal career trajectories and how they transitioned their career to the next level. Gain insights from these esteemed speakers, and learn tips and tricks that can be applied to your career progression. Participants will have the opportunity to hear from, and network with, some senior leaders in the industry.
