VersaFi Ontario is excited to host its 3rd annual charity fundraiser and social, Cards for a Cause.
Join us for an unforgettable evening of networking, cocktails and charitable poker fun among 300+ finance professionals. This event aims to create a friendly and inclusive environment – open to women, men and gender diverse individuals of all poker skill levels. We’ll begin with a brief poker refresher / teaching session, followed by a ‘knock-out’ Texas Hold’em style tournament. Hors d’oeuvres and drinks will be served throughout and exciting prizes are available to be won.
Profits are donated to a local charity with a focus on making a significant impact on women and children in our community. This year we are proud to present The Redwood as our selected charity.
CHARITY
The Redwood for Women and Children fleeing abuse provides a vital safety net by offering secure emergency shelter and a 24/7 crisis hotline. Beyond immediate safety, they provide specialized recovery programs for children and youth to help families heal from the trauma of abuse. They also provide tuition-free vocational trades & technology training and job placement assistance. Your support helps provide these life-changing resources, empowering survivors to rebuild their lives with confidence and economic security.
