    Kimberly Highfield is an Assistant Vice President of Investment Services with Manulife-John Hanock’s Real Estate Finance Group, where she oversees closing and post closing operations supporting commercial real estate mortgages across the U.S. and Canada. Kimberly began her commercial real estate career in 2000 as a paralegal at Dionne & Gass LLP, a Boston based boutique law firm specializing in construction, acquisition, and financing transactions. She joined John Hancock’s Real Estate Finance Group in 2003 as a Closing Analyst and has since progressed through a series of leadership roles within Investment Services, including Director of Post Closing, Director of Closing, and Assistant Vice President of U.S. Investment Services. In 2022, her role expanded to include oversight of both U.S. and Canadian investment services.

    An active leader and advocate within Manulife, Kimberly serves as a committee member for both the General Account Inclusion Sub-Council and Women in the General Account and sits on the advisory boards of the Global Women’s Alliance and VIBE (Valuing the Inclusion of Black Experiences). Externally, she is an engaged member of the Mortgage Bankers Association, where she participates in several committees focused on advancing best practices across the industry.

    Kimberly is a 2023 alumna of The Partnership’s Next Generation Executive Program. Based in Boston, The Partnership, Inc. is the region’s premier organization dedicated to the professional advancement of people of color through career development, increased representation, and expanded leadership opportunities.

    Kimberly holds a BS in Political Science and a MS in Project Management from Northeastern University and a Certificate in Real Estate Finance from Boston University. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and time with family.

    Camille is at the forefront of development and implementation for the North
    American wealth and asset management businesses. As a highly esteemed
    leader within the organization who has consistently driven and delivered
    exceptional results, Camille successfully spearheaded one of the largest
    investment dealer modernization initiatives ever undertaken in Canada. She also orchestrated the largest asset conversion in Canadian history. Prior to that, she led the highest-ever global rollover capture rates, record-breaking retention earnings, and unprecedented assets under management within the Global Retirement business.

    Beyond her professional accomplishments, Camille is deeply committed to
    fostering diversity and inclusion. She is a member of the Global Wealth and Asset Management Canadian DEI Sub-council focused on improving the culture of inclusion at Manulife and creating a workplace where colleagues thrive.

    Camille’s influence extends into the community as well, where she serves on the Advisory Council of Four Brown Girls, an organization that facilitates events for brands, government agencies, and communities to engage with Black Canadians through safe, digital, and physical spaces. A passionate mentor, guest speaker, and thought leader, Camille is dedicated to uplifting and empowering women, particularly women of colour, championing their advancement in all spheres of life.

    Her dedication to these values has been recognized by VersaFi (formerly Women in Capital Markets), a national not-for-profit organization created to accelerate equity, diversity, and inclusion in finance. In 2023, Camille was a recipient of its Champions of Change Award, celebrating her commitment to driving positive change within the industry.

    John is a 25-year investment officer at Manulife, a member of Manulife’s Global Leadership Team, and sits on Manulife’s investment committee for our $400 billion global life insurance / General Account portfolio.

    John’s investment role includes:

    $220 billion of public bond and private placement debt investing for our General Account customers,
    $30 billion of infrastructure equity for clients around the world, where he is the President of our Infrastructure Equity program in GWAM Private Markets.
    Prior to joining Manulife in 2001, John worked for ten years as an infrastructure lending officer from the New York and London offices of The Chase Manhattan Bank.
    John has been actively engaged in gender inclusion initiatives at Manulife for 15 years, and in racial inclusion work for five years:

    • Acted as a Mentor in VersaFi’s Toronto finance community professional mentorship program.

    • Was a host and facilitator for the Manulife’s Boston Day of Racial Justice and Reconciliation employee conversation. John is also the executive advisor for Boston’s chapter of VIBE (Valuing the Inclusion of Black Experiences) employee club.

    • Externally, John is on the board of the YW Boston, whose mission is to empower women and eliminate racism, with a focus on the intersectional challenges faced by black and brown women.

    Before working in the private sector, John served as an Intelligence Officer with the Central Intelligence Agency. He has also been an executive sponsor of our US Veterans and Military Families club.

    John holds an MBA from Georgetown University in Washington DC, and received his BA in Economics from The University of Chicago.

    John speaks French, Serbo-Croatian, German, Spanish, and Russian at an intermediate level, and would not be mistaken for a native speaker in any of these languages.
